Under UK GDPR we rely on: performance of a contract (providing services you or our client requested), legitimate interests (operating, securing and improving our services), consent (where required, e.g. certain cookies or marketing), and legal obligation.
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with: the business whose website you interacted with; service providers who help us operate (hosting, databases, email delivery, AI model providers and payment processing), all bound by data protection obligations; and authorities where the law requires it.
Some providers process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we use recognised safeguards such as UK-approved standard contractual clauses or adequacy regulations.
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or anonymise it. Clients may configure shorter retention for conversation data on their systems.

We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls, hashed credentials and the measures described in our Data Protection statement. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data as we would want ours treated.
